Deployment the ASCENDING storage solution into your AWS environment has been automated!
Pre-requisite:
You need to create your S3 bucket first in your environment. If you would like a step-by-step guide on how to do this, please ask for a step-by-step guide in our free AI tools.
Step 1:
Deploy our CloudFormation template in your environment.
BucketName: {Please provide your S3 bucket name} e.g. cost-analysis in step1.
Step2:
Please copy the Outputs value from CloudFormation stack page and email it to us.
Step3:
The ASCENDING engineer will complete the rest of the configuration and email you a client installation file.
Step4:
Install the client on your computer, and log in with the provided credentials.
For the Sandbox version, please confirm "Run anyway" at the warning popup because we didn't embed the certification in the sandbox distribution. You are safe.

You can now use the native OS file system to work on the S3 bucket securely.

3. For Windows file explore, you need to enter username/password one more time at the popup and make sure to check the "Remember my credentials"
Note: If you have a large size of files, the first-time sync will take some time.
